Great blog. A truly special record; important for many. I remember sitting on my bed on one of those dark and often damp Saturday afternoon that cling to surburbia. Just returned from Our Price, I wondered at the brown hues of the Hope is Important album sleeve. It was early November 1998 and a week or so earlier I had seen idlewild for the first time, opening up for Ash on halloween a few weeks later on saw them for the second time at the University of London Union. Anyhow, it was sunderland punk combo leatherface or idlewild, I made my choice. I had recognised i'm a message from the Ash show but knew not what to expecy, the CD moved and I listened you've lost your way came on. Everything was different after that.

Hi,
Great blog post, I love twitter! The problem I have with it, is that it seems to be quite a pain to use in a way that makes sense, I mean who cares what I am posting?
