![]() Too many fireworks began, ostensibly, to allow a young band from Lanarkshire called troika to release an e.p. and afterwards it seemed to take on a life of its own. During the first few years of the label's existence we were lucky to work with some fantastic band and artists. There were never any A&R policy nor genres to stick to and anything was fair game - the only condition is that the music had to excite us. When we released our first album in 2003 - Flying Matchstick Men's The Sleepinq sonqztq - we felt we had set the bar pretty high and everything from then on in had to go above and beyond that. albums by Laeto and Titus Gein and special appearances by Findo Gask and Errors proved that the label could certainly punch its weight. The label's reappearance in 2010 has brought with it a change in focus. As before, nothing is ruled out but while there may be less guitars, the music still has to give us goosebumps or make us dance and what's best of all is that none of us know what the future will bring. On the right hand side of the page, you'll find a list of all the artists we've worked with with links to their webpages should you want to find out more about them. |
